Does putting a lime in a coconut and drinking it actually cure anything?

So the song says a lady had a bellyache and she called the doctor and the doctor said "put the lime in the coconut and drink em both up" and this is supposed to help. Is this an actual remedy for something out there?

funny--but yes it does-it helps fatty liver
