Super hangover, what is the remedy?

Resolved Question

Super hangover, what is the remedy?

Water makes me want to puke. Soda does the same. I don't think I should involve food.

The best remedy is prevention.

No, seriously, the body reacts to poisons by creation of "injury enzymes" normally intended to clear out and/or protect wounds in primitive situations with zero medical care. These enzymes do more damage than the original injuries, by rupture of cell walls from swelling, excision of damaged tissue which could have healed if left alone, etc. A good Cox 1 inhibitor such as time-release Arthritis formula generic Acetaminophen (taken according to label instructions) will greatly lessen hangover symptoms from ethanol poisoning (also with fusile oil contaminant). There will be substantially less damage to brain and other organs, and to maximize results, one may take the pills before drinking actually begins! (Warning: Mixing Aspirin or Motrin with alcohol invites ulceration.)

But also on prevention, much less alcohol is needed for artificial courage than most people think, and none is actually required. The point of diminishing returns is quickly reached. "Wow that must have been a great party we can't remember, but who are you and whose bed is this?"

Posing as "brave" becomes comfortable and a way of life very easily, in which it becomes real.

  • more beer always work.. kind of like a weening off effect, drink again but not as much you did the previous to get plastered.
