Is there any herbal tea for making ppl sleepy and calm?

it must be healthy though and with no limitations in using, because i need something that would calm my mind, nerves and let me fall asleep easier and faster at evenings, i have to wake up early for school but i'm used to go sleep at 2-3 am

and i cant sleep less than i need just to be sleepy at next evening due to other my problems, i just must get sleep as much as i need

  • Most of those herbal teas contain caffeine, which would defeat your purpose. I recommend decaf in those cute little teabags - Lipton's or Tetley's or any other brand. It's a heck of a lot cheaper than all those herbal blends - plus you know it's not going to have been sprayed, deliberately or inadvertently, with any sort of chemicals.
    It's the atmosphere, not the tea - you set the mood by sitting down in your kitchen and waiting for the water to boil, pouring it in your mug with the teabag and any sweetener you may want, and then settling down to sip your tea and reading something light or listening to calming music. Give it a quarter of an hour and babe, you're gonna be so ready to lay your head on that pillow...
  • Well, I tried cammomile tea and it kept me awake ! Everybody is different but there are such things as valerian and melatonin which have worked for me and for others too. You just have to try what is best for you. Actually there are lots fo things to calm you down and you might find the article that I wrote here quite useful.

  • The best calming tea is passiflora [passion flower]. Chamomile is somewhat relaxing, but mostly for your digestive system.

    Green tea has caffeine so it would not be good to drink at night to fall asleep.

  • Hot Milk usually works! camomile or lavendar has a good sleepy effect also. Sorry i cant be more helpful!
