  • well lets see there are a number of possible choices
-chamomile, can be found in some herbal teas, can be quite relaxing
-hibiscus, can also be found in some herbal teas
-clove has been a natural remedy not so much for itchiness but for asthma related symptoms (although this does not pertain to the Original question i thought it to be interesting)
-marijuana (i know its illegal but i don't know where you live, you could live in the great state of Cali which has for the most part legalized it for medical purposes)

    on marijuana
smoking it from a vaporizer, is the healthiest option in the smoking direction which i would never suggest

instead pot in-fussed cupcake brownies do the trick
only extra butter and or milk is required
the best part is you don't have to take part in the brownies everyday
it's more of a "when you need it" cure all

  • If this itchiness is a new reaction to an old medication, or a reaction to a med you've just started taking, you REALLY need to contact your doctor or pharmacist about the itching.

If you regularly get this reaction, and your doctor is already aware of it, then try the suggestions given by other answerers here. But, please be certain your doctor knows your meds are causing you problems.
  • Try XanGo Natural Juice Supplement. I drink it for energy and migraines. My sister drinks it for inflammation. My other sister drinks it for cramps and regulation for her periods. A pastor at church drinks it to help with her lupus symptoms. I could go on and on. Try it. It might help. www.juicesupplement.bravehost.com Good luck.

  • Yeah, oats is your best bet - you can put them in a regular blender.
Throw a cup or so in a tepid bath (not hot - not even really warm) and soak for a little while (ten minutes if you can)

Also - call your pharmacist. Itching can be a bad warning symptom if its not a regular side effect of your medication
  • try taking oatmeal baths that usually sooths the itch..... what i do is buy a container of normal oats and blend them up then mix then with epsom and rock salt and it makes a reallllly relaxing bath.... good luck
  • buy some regular oatmeal or just oats and put them in a coffee grinder to make a thin powder and add to your bathwater with a little body oil (or olive oil) and lavender oil.
  • i think the medications messed up ur liver.....and a messed up liver can cause itchness
  • aveeno, himalaya herbals. works like magic on itch, allergy, anythin!
  • try weed...it will distract u and make u feel good.
