Magnesium citrate or cantor oil?

Resolved Question

Magnesium citrate or cantor oil?

Which one is a more powerful, effective laxative? Do they sell magnesium citrate in Walmart?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker

I am pretty sure they sell magnesium citrate at Walmart in the pharmacy department. It can take a very long time to work. You would be better off buying glycerin suppositories. If you leave one in your rectum for 30 minutes you should be able to move your bowels.

Suppositories work by drawing natural fluid into your rectum. That is why it is important to keep it in your rectum a long time.

Your best bet is an enema bag. Once you are constipated the stool can be dry, or so very large that it is too big to come out without the use of an enema.
