This one will work just about every time:

Gargle with colloidal silver and then swallow. Make sure to do this several times a day and swallow at least 4 ounces per day and your sore throat should be better quickly and gone in a couple of days or so.
Note: Do NOT mix with salt, and make sure that you are using a colloidal or ionic silver product that is no more than 20 PPM.

Note: Don't believe the mainstream scare stories about colloidal silver. Properly made and administered colloidal silver has never turned anyone blue nor has it caused any harm. Such reports refer to improperly made homemade silver made with tap water and contaminated with salt.

The only threat colloidal silver represents is to the huge profits of patented drugs that are usually less effective, far less safe and far more expensive. See:

Other suggestions:

* Apple cider vinegar (ACV). Mix one teaspoon to 2 tablespoons in a glass of water or else mix it as strong as you can stand it. Gargle one mouthful every hour, swallowing afterward. Repeat twice each time. This treatment can cure a streptococcic sore throat in 24 hours. After using this remedy be sure to rinse your mouth with water to prevent the acid from eroding teeth enamel.

* Combine one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, one teaspoon of cayenne pepper and three tablespoons of clover honey in a glass of warm water. Gargle as often as necessary.

* Echinacea tincture/extract. Most people know that echinacea can help you fight off a cold. But it also acts as a mild local anesthetic when taken in liquid extract form. Mix ½ teaspoon of the liquid extract with about 1/4 cup water, gargle, and swallow. Do this every hour for up to 48 hours or until the soreness disappears.

* Combine the following ingredients in a saucepan:

1/2 teaspoon alum
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon sage
3/8 cup vinegar
1/8 cup water

then bring the mixture to a boil. Remove from heat; strain and cool. Gargle every 30 minutes until the sore throat is relieved.

* Sage tea and honey. Brew sage tea. Add a little honey. Strain out the leaves, and gargle often with the resulting liquid.

* An old home remedy for sore throats is a tea made with lemon, apple cider vinegar, cayenne, and honey. It is made by adding one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper, the juice of 1/4 lemon, and one teaspoon of honey to a cup of hot water. Stir. Typically, up to four cups a day is suggested.

  • Drink hot tea with honey and lemon. It won't cure it but it will help the aggravation a lot. Pure, unfiltered, raw apple cider vinegar is the cure to everything! Drink some of it (I know ewwww) and you're problems will be solved.
