Co Q10 and L-Carnitine help?

Resolved Question

Co Q10 and L-Carnitine help?

I started these two supplements 5 days ago. And for some strange reason I developed a horrible cold to my sixth day. I don't go out often to get a cold from anybody, no one at home has the virus, and its the middle of summer.
Can anyone tell me if these amino acids have anything to do with my cold?

i do not believe it has anything to do with your cold..co q 10 has a couple of benefits for us.it prouduces energy production in our cells and as an antioxidant which protects our cells from free-radical damage ..youd be suprised when , what . where and how long ago u can pick up a cold or symptons of a cold...l-carnitine among many other benefits reduces cholesterol metabolism, prevents plaque formation and increases the efficiency of the heart muscle..which im assuming is why your taking these....pg women..breastfeeding women or ppl on coumadin are not advised to take coq10...

  • They don't have anything to do with cold symptoms. Do you have a fever and sore throat? If so, go to your doctor to make sure it isn't the flu.
