Is there anyway to get anti-depresiants over the counter?

I don't think you can get them over-the-counter like that. However, St John's wort is a herbal antidepressant that you can buy from pharmacies without a prescription.

• I don't know of any anti-depressants available over the counter. See your doctor or talk to a therapist. There are also free resources online to help with depression and forums that are helpful also. go to www.thepanicattacktreatment.com it helped me alot. My symptoms were anxiety but it was causing depression or vice versa. Anyway I had both and this helped me alot.
• in Egypt u can u just have 2 know the brand name of the drug u want and pharmacists don't ask u 4 the prescription, am a pharmacist if u want a list of the brandnames and mode of action of drugs in Egypt post another question
• Depending in which country you live. Here in Holland you can't.
