A question about poop? (If squeamish please don't read)?

Resolved Question

A question about poop? (If squeamish please don't read)?

OK, I eat between 1 and 2.5 kilograms of green vegetables a day and my poop is ALWAYS a really dark green.
Does this mean that my body isn't absorbing the nutrients in the greens?

Additional Details

Thanks Misha but I said "dark green" which fits in with too much iron in the diet from an excess in leafy greens according to your link.
Thanks for the link though!

  • HEY! Its okay, nothing to be concerned about, your body is absorbing the nutrients in those greens =) your body simply has no use for chlorophyll. Your doing a good thing though, because chlorophyll keeps your bowel moving and is very cleansing! Keep eating your veggies and to get the best effect eat fresh, they have more nutrients in them =)
  • Nope. The green is caused by excess bile. Bile is what turns poop brown. It means that your bowels are going through too fast. Try eating white crackers.

  • Maybe you should stop eating green vegetables.
