Resolved Question

Are there benefits to soaking in a hot bath?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker

Definitely. It relaxes your muscles especially if you are sore from just hard work or strains and injuries. It also helps you sweat which removes toxins from your system and lots of dead cells that have been clinging to your body even after you shower are easier to slough off. At the end of it you feel so much lighter.

  • absolutely !!! Not to mention the relaxation of the body and muscles , but all your body pour are being opened and cleaned with the hot water,, it helps in the growth of new cells. However, it is also important to moisturize your body when finished, then the new cells that are growing will shine and have a healthy glow. I do my daily showers in the mornings and then pamper myself with a hot soaking bath in the evening, AT LEAST TWICE a week, and usually take a good book along too :) ( and I'm 45 with very nice skin )
  • Of course there are benefits. For one you get clean.
I love soaking in a bath with shea oil. Or a sports muscle soak.
It allows me to relax with a glass of wine and not think.
    Very calming and soothing.
A refreshing way to calm down after a big day, or to relieve yourself after stress.
