What would happen if you ate a Suppository Laxative?

My friend just ate one by accident xD She's just wants to know if it will give her a bad case of diarrhea or anything else.

It'll probably do the same thing it would have done if she'd put it up her butt, it'll just take longer.
I can't imagine it tasting very good.

• It never ceases to amaze me the dumb things people do!! Did it ever occur to you that laxatives in suppository form are specifically intended for the VERY lower area of your torso!? I am not positive, but the upper digestion area may NOT be able to handle that!!! When you kids are curious..why don't you just google your 'curiosity' items!!! It is A LOT safer
• Actually, it will do some harm, you are supposed to seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. You can find the number for Poison Control in your area by Googling your city or state's name and the words Poison Control (example: Washington Poison Control).
• Not a bad case, probably just a mild case, since it will be sititng in hydrochloric acid stomach juices, instead of in mucous.
