What's an good OTC sleep medicine?

I don't have any sleeping problems or anything like that, but I have weird sleeping habits during the summer. Like sleeping at 5 am and waking up in the middle of the day. sometimes I have to wake up early and it's really hard to go to sleep the night before.

Tylenol Simply Sleep is good because it's gentle, non-addictive, and effective. But I'm going to warn you, it's not going to make you feel any better in the morning. If you've really messed up your sleep schedule, it's not going to work all that well (it's OTC, after all), and even if it does make you sleep, it's not going to be the type of sleep that makes you wake up nice and refreshed in the AM. Point is, if you're used to waking up at noon, you're going to feel like crap getting up at 7, no matter what.

  • Oh my god. The same exact thing is happening to me and i have to get back on track for high school. Im 15 too. Anyway ive been up really late and sleeping a lot and im all messed up, so i got some sleep music, drank some catnip tea. Catnip contains a natural sedative and when drank as tea ensures a good nightsleep, i also took 2 benadryl, which is the right dossage for my age and weight and i slept very well, i wouldnt take benadryl every night, but catnip tea is a very safe and healthy source of sedatives, you can get a plant at trader joes, or get dried catnip from a pet store, just make sure it says 100 % can nip natural grown to avoid pesticides.   • I've taken 2 Benedryl capsules a few times. Those always seem to do the trick and I never wake up groggy.
