What is the Difference between Steroidal Muscles and Regular Muscles?

Resolved Question

What is the Difference between Steroidal Muscles and Regular Muscles?

Is there any difference in appearance, and Can you get as big as Coleman without using steroids?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker

Steroid induced muscle has a lot more water in it.. so it appears inflated, like a balloon. Whereas muscle built with diet and time is smaller, harder, and tighter with stronger sinew striation. You 'can' get humongous without steroids, but it is a lot harder.

  • There is no difference in the actual muscles themselves. Testosterone and other anabolic steroids basically make a better environment for building muscle. Persons may appear bloated while on steroids because they increase water retention temporarily. No, nobody could ever get as big as Coleman without steroids as of yet. They have experimental drugs such as myostatin inhibitors that may allow it someday but at this point it would be impossible.
