Could orange juice help get better from urine infection?

i love ornge juice.. could orange juice make the urince infection go away?

No but cranberry juice concentrate will. Don't just drink the cranberry juices mixed with other juices as it is too dilute. Cranberry juice helps to coat the inside lining of the bladder and prevent the infection from sticking to that liner. You can also take cranberry tablets but I'm not sure if they are as effective as the pure juice.

• No! Don't do it! The best thing that you can drink for a urinary infection is water, followed by unsweetened cranberry juice. Orange juice is one of the worst things to drink when you have a urinary infection. Orange juice turns alkaline in your body and can actually make your infection worse. Taking a Vitamin C supplement in pill form can help with your urinary infection by acting as a natural diuretic helping increase the number of times that you urinate, but please stay away from orange juice. Also, avoid drinking coffee, tea, soda, beer, wine, and other acidic and alcoholic beverages.

• You love orange juice? Seriously- we are talking about your health here. Get an appointment with the doctor so you can find out if it is indeed an infection. In the meantime, get to your local health food store and ask for some homeopathic or natural remedies. Also, invest in a good Cranberry pill. Or, drink 100% Cranberry Juice - NOT orange juice or that fake 10% juice crap.
• Drinking cranberry juice everyday works to help prevent UTIs but it cannot treat one that your already have. Orange juice, while delicious, has no proven medical applications.
