Sure you can. In order to have healthy eyes, eat foods that are rich in vitamin A - carotenoids, lutein, zeaxanthin, beta carotene and lycopene such as collard greens, broccoli, carrots, beetroots, corn, green peas, kale, romaine lettuce, spinach, turnip greens, zucchini and egg yolks. Fruits such as Papaya, blueberries, bilberries and apricots. Also cold-water fish such as tuna, cod, salmon, haddock & sardines.

Vision improves drastically with eye exercises. Even 15 minutes a day to do them would be fair enough for a healthy eye.

1. Relax yourself and your eyes with this simple exercise. Sit comfortably and close your eyes and cover them with your both palms. Imagine you are seeing utter darkness or black. Relax for 30 seconds and then open your eyes. Repeat.

2. Close your eyes and gently rub them with hands in circular motion. You should take care not to apply pressure while doing this.

3. Now open your eyes roll them clockwise for a few seconds and then in anti-clockwise direction. Now move them up and then down, go left and then right. Repeat.

4. With a pencil/pen, mark two dots on a a white paper side to side with a distance say 5 cm between them. Now move the paper towards your eye until the two dots merge together. Repeat.

I did some of the exercises from 'perfect eyesight' and my vision has drastically improved. Now my left eye has -1 compared with my previous -3.5. So I'm sure that if you do these exercises daily and eat vitamin A rich foods, then you can achieve perfect vision.

  • hmmmm....Well, of course increasing your Vit. A (carrots) intake should help...some...Not 'magic' however. You also need enough Lutein in your diet...Always, always wear UV-Protected Sunglasses.....Nothing damages eyes quicker, than direct sunlight. (imo)

Then, of course, sorta depends on the good old DNA, (heredity)...So how is the vision of your Parents holding up? Additionally, you can possibly check w/ an Air Force Recruitment office for eye specs, etc...Even Google it..for an in-depth perspective...

Also, trying not to 'strain' your eyes, like reading in poor lite, etc....Too much time @ the Computer, w/o some diversion eye-exercises, (Google, again)

    Good Luck

  • No. It's impossible.

You can get a lot of Vitamin A, but your eyesight will never improve.

Nothing will improve it. Once you need glasses, you always will.

  • Vitamin A! It helps with vision. Foods that are rich in Vitamin A are:

    -Carrots of course!
    -sweet potatoes
    - mangoes
-spinach (the best of the bunch, well my fave haha)
    - milk
    -mozzarella cheese

There are a lot more if you google it. If you add more vit.a to your diet then overtime it will help your eyesight.
  • do eye yoga
