How many sleeping pills should i take???? *PLEASE HELP!!*?

I have soccer tryouts tomorrow and i wanted to go to bed at about 9ish and i want to take sleeping pills well have to so i can go to bed early i usually go to bed at 2AM. I usually take one but it doesn't always work so i wanted to take two the sleeping pill is called Melitonion. I am not so sure if it will be healthy i will list my height and stuff so u no if i am ok to take it.. Please help me!!! :)

Height- 5'0 - 5' 1"
Weight- 95-97

Melatonin is a natural element that is present in the body. It does work well as a sleeping aide. The dosage does vary from person to person, depending on their age, size, etc.. Some can sleep with 5mg others need more.
I would recommend this, if you are getting ready for bed, and you feel really wide awake, then go ahead and take 2 Melatonin but take it early enough so that you are not really sleepy in the morning.
You don't weigh much but you may have a more active system, or have a lot of energy. What you can try is taking 1 Melatonin very early. If you don't feel it working within 1 to 1 1/2 hours then take 1 more Melatonin. That should help you. It's safe as long as you take it early enough so that you won't be so groggy in the morning.
If you're worried, try taking 1 Melatonin at first, then if you don't feel sleepy within an hour, go ahead and take 1 more, that should help.
Also, shut out all distractions, from the tv, the phone, etc.. Anything that would keep you awake. Try reading a book or magazine. That makes many people sleepy. Or just do whatever helps you relax. You will get some sleep.

  • melatonin is safe, effective, and natural. Melatonin usually comes in increments of 100 mcg, 300mcg, 500mcg, and 1mg. I usually take a relatively high dose of around 2 mg. Mine are in the form of 300mcg so I need to take about 5 to 8 of them. 1000mcg is equivalent to 1mg.

    An even safer and more natural method is valerian root extracts. I usually take about 1 to 2 g of the extract in the form of 500mg capsules.

  • Melatonin may not work for some people. The best bet is to take a benadryl or diphenhydramine it helps you go to sleep naturally and is non-habit forming
