Provigil. good or bad?

it has already been mentioned on Law And Order SVU as addictive and dangerous. but is it useful for those suffering from chronic fatigue or narcolepsy.

Its also a treatment for depression....I got a couple weeks worth of it, but it was nearly 12 bucks a pill without insurance, and I just didn't find it all that therapeutic....didn't help all that much with the fatigue that is a big part of depression.

I didn't find it all that exciting so to speak - kinda like a cup of coffee too many ciggerettes in the morning, only the jitters are a little different.

But people find ways to abuse nearly everything - so I'm sure someone would.
