Best way to quickly cure a sore throat?

I have a cold.. and my throat is really raw, but i have a dance thing tomorrow until friday, all day, i need to be feeling much much better!!
i smoked weed two nights ago and it kind of burned my throat, but it never hurt for more than like, a couple hours.. its been over 24 hourss
Sooo, i dont know if thts what its from or not..or if it matters,,
i also wanted to know how long it takes for weed to get out of your blood system,

Chewing on cardamom soothes the throat and clears any obstructing phlegm.
Extract juice from neem leaves and mix it with a small quantity of honey. Heat the mixture slightly. Use this warm liquid as a gargle.
